MODULAR HELMET MT HELMETS ATOM 2 SV HIGHLANDS A7 GLOSS

The MT Helmets Atom 2 SV Highlands A7 Gloss combines modular versatility, modern safety technology and touring-focused comfort in a stylish flip-up motorcycle helmet. Designed for riders who regularly move between city streets, highways and longer journeys, the Atom 2 SV offers the convenience of a modular design while incorporating features normally associated with more advanced touring helmets.

At the heart of the helmet is a HIRP High Impact Resistance Polymer shell, developed to offer an effective balance between strength, protection and weight. The Atom 2 SV is designed to exceed the demanding ECE 22.06 standard and is also DOT homologated. It carries P/J homologation, meaning the helmet is approved for use with the chin guard open in accordance with applicable regulations. Always check local laws before riding with the chin bar raised.

The modular chin guard can be opened using a practical single-handed mechanism, making the helmet particularly convenient when stopping, communicating with other riders or moving through urban environments. A chin curtain also contributes to comfort and helps improve aerodynamic and acoustic isolation.

Visibility is another key feature of the Atom 2 SV. The helmet uses an MT-V-35 anti-scratch visor with the MT-FSOS+ Fast Shield Opening System, which incorporates an automatic movement toward the anti-fog position. The visor is compatible with Pinlock and Fog-Off anti-fogging systems, providing riders with additional options for maintaining clear vision in changing weather conditions. The integrated MT-ESP retractable sun visor offers extended coverage and can be operated quickly with one hand when lighting conditions change.

Inside, the Atom 2 SV features removable and washable hypoallergenic interiors, making it easier to maintain freshness over extended periods of use. The helmet also incorporates a micrometric double-tooth retention system designed to provide secure fastening and convenient adjustment.

The Atom 2 SV is prepared for modern motorcycle communication systems through its dedicated intercom housing. This makes it suitable for riders who use Bluetooth communication for navigation, calls or rider-to-rider communication.

The Highlands A7 Gloss graphic gives this modular helmet a distinctive touring-inspired look, while the available size range from XS through XXL helps accommodate a broad range of riders. The official MT Helmets product listing confirms the A7 Gloss finish and six available sizes.

Whether used for daily commuting, weekend trips or long-distance touring, the MT Helmets Atom 2 SV Highlands A7 Gloss offers a practical combination of modular convenience, modern homologation, versatile visibility features and rider-focused comfort.
